Camins Del Priorat

Powerful but elegant, approachable but restrained, Camins is Alvaro's entry point into Priorat. The 2024 blend is roughly 40% Garnacha, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 16% Carinena and 6% Syrah. Grapes are fully destemmed and gently pressed, fermented with native yeasts in cement and wooden vats with cap plunges, then aged in barrels and wooden vats four to six months. Aromas of black olives and rich dark cherries with brambly, meaty undertones, fruity and juicy with a solid, fleshy fruit core, medium bodied and nicely chewy. Fresh red fruit and pressed flowers show alongside vanilla and spice, full bodied and warm with a soft, lively texture, low acidity and well integrated oak.
